3 Ways to Relax (#14)

1. Immediately on waking, “think how you can give joy to at least one person today.” These are the words of the nineteenth century philosopher Frederich Neitzsche — a surprising person to have come up with such an uplisting thought, as he is more associated with deeply skeptical, , angst-ridden philosophy.

2. Wear something amusing under you clothes — such as a witty saying on a tee-shirt. This underlines that there’s more to all of us than is apparent from our surface appearances. Indeed, the true path of the spirit often leads us away from commonly accepted norms.

3. Relax your tongue. Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth, hold it there for a few seconds, then relax. This exercise also helps to releive tension in the jaw, face and neck.
