Eliminate the word ‘should’ from your vocabulary
This one is so simple it’s scary. Eliminating the word can simplify your life dramatically. Shoulds are almost always someone else’s expectations and hopes for us. We buy into them on a conscious level, but because they’re not related to who we are or what we want, they only end up causing us a lot of guilt and turmoil. Set up a little alarm to go off in your head every time you hear the word should come out of your mouth. Start noticing how often you say it and then consciously choose to eliminate the word, and the should, from your life. This will allow you to live in integrity faster than anything else I know.
